In the series Hiding Places, I created sculptures that serve as sanctuaries where you can conceal your thoughts or secrets.
The design draws its inspiration directly from stone and the raw topography of the landscape.
I am deeply fascinated by the structure, surface, and journey of stones as they travel through time from one corner of the world to another.
It is a tribute to the ancient forces of nature, particularly the ice's slow creation of the landscape. In these sculptures, the geological past meets the deeply personal, turning a piece of the earth into a quiet keeper of human mysteries.

Cardboard is everywhere. It carries our necessities, our desires, and sometimes our dreams. For Lisbeth Derry, a cardboard box is never just a cardboard box. It is a material with memory. And sometimes it is allowed to become art before it becomes recycling. She is fascinated by creating beauty from a material that exists in abundance and is usually viewed as waste. In her hands, the used cardboard box is not the end of a journey, but the beginning of a new story.

In the series As Seen on Earth, the artist treats clay as a medium for social commentary, documenting the peculiar specimens she encounters in daily life. These sculptures are not flattering portraits; they are whimsical, slightly skewed observations of human behavior. Anatomical proportions are entirely dismissed. Physical and emotional traits are stretched past their logical limits, prioritizing the actual vibe of the encounter over reality. In her hands, clay becomes a blunt tool to capture our collective awkwardness, turning ordinary people into monuments of human eccentricity.

Lisbeth Derry’s vibrant, abstract paintings build a direct dialogue between geology and botany. The compositions are entirely guided by the raw contours and physical weight of stones, creating a solid structure on the canvas. On top of these geological forms, a color palette borrowed directly from the botanical world flows in light, poetic, and translucent layers. The works become a concrete exploration of nature’s inherent contradictions - the soft hardness and warm coolness of stones - capturing the long journey the materials have taken through time and landscape to finally land on her canvas.

A series of visual investigations into "heart matters" - Cordi esse alicui - which is just a fancy way of saying things, people, and quirks that we care about way more than we probably should.
Using a highly sophisticated mixture of colored pencils and white acrylic paint (mostly to cover up the parts where the pencils didn't cooperate), these portraits map out human affection in all its weird, unpolished glory.
It turns out that when you look closely at what people hold dear, it is rarely flawless symmetry, but rather a chaotic and deeply entertaining collection of personal obsessions.
No wrinkled brows or heavy life lessons here - just raw, lines, accidental smudges, and a curious look at the things we choose to love.

For me, an artbook is a personal sanctuary without boundaries - and honestly, a bit of a brain-dumping ground. It is a physical space where I channel my racing thoughts and wild, surreal ideas directly from my mind onto paper, cardboard, wood, plastic, or whatever random material I happen to lay my hands on.
On these pages, I watch entirely new universes come to life.
This is my ultimate experimental playground. It is a place where I test fresh techniques, discover alternative ways of making things, and embrace the joy of pure, uninhibited creation. Think of it as a sketchbook on steroids; a tool, a chaotic catalogue for ideas, and a reference work that I can dig into at any given time to resurrect past art projects.
My artbooks are my private, playful universes defined by absolute freedom and raw texture. I firmly believe there are no mistakes or rigid guidelines holding my creativity back - mostly because I refuse to let them in.
I absolutely love working with distressed paper, used cardboard, unloved and forgotten books, and all kinds of recycled materials. I find deep inspiration in repurposing and breathing new life into materials that the rest of the world has thrown away. To be completely honest, brand-new, fine, white paper actually terrifies me. It is just so pristine, crisp, and perfect that I immediately get stage fright, knowing that whatever I do, I am inevitably going to ruin it.
This process acts as my ultimate release valve for chaotic thoughts and a dangerously raw imagination. Here, I can dive fearlessly into unknown materials because, to me, this is about pure, joyful play. And sometimes, I might actually share this chaotic world with you in my artbook. But only sometimes...
